League Fair to Feature Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Showcase
Teams of master traditional artists and their apprentices will be on hand Sunday, August 1, at the opening day of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen’s annual fair. The three pairs, who are recipients of Traditional Arts Apprenticeship grants from the N.H. State Council on the Arts, will be offering demonstrations all day in Tent T. They are:

  • Master artist Bob Wyatt and apprentice Chris Clark, who have been focusing on Classic Atlantic Salmon Fly Tying
  • Master artist Fred Dolan and apprentice Gary Trotter, who have been focusing on Décor Carving
  • Master artist Ron Raiselis and apprentice Glenn Lael, who have been focusing on cooperage.

The New Hampshire League of Craftsmen’s Fair, in its 76th year, features the fine handcraft of more than 350 juried League members. The fair include craft booths, exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops, tours, seminars, and music. It runs August 1 through 9 at Mount Sunapee Resort, Newbury, N.H.
